Meetings
Around 7.30pm on the third Wednesday of the month, we have a speaker, workshop or creative showcase. However, Bournemouth Creatives meetings start at 6.30pm giving you time to arrive, order food and drinks, chat, generally relax and settle in.
Past speakers have included a sculptor, printing and book-binding experts, a marketing expert, several writers and an artist giving some tuition. This lasts about an hour and will usually include time for questions and any announcements for upcoming events, etc. This is followed by time to talk to the speaker, ask questions or just socialise.
The Winchester often has other events on after us, so sometimes people will be setting up equipment. Please don’t feel rushed or put off by this. We are very grateful to the Winchester for letting us meet there and we like to fit around them as best we can. Quite often we are invited to stay on for whatever event there might be – there isn’t always one!
If you would like to talk to us about your artform or have a suggestion of someone you would like to hear talk, please email Elanor – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
See you at a meeting soon.
